The Paradox of Choice:
Wanting something can be a powerful motivator. It can lead us in directions we would not want to go. Or it can be the pre-sessor to obsession.
If you are a person with goals, and you live to realise these goals, then this following point is crucial.
"Aligning your impulses with your goals is crucial.
You cannot let cheap dopamine and a lack of impulse-control be your master.
Chase the real dopamine through hard, fufilling work."
This process of realizing your true potential is a reward hitting highway. The only way to visualize your higher self. Is though silence and boredom, this is the moments you can let your mind wander. When your at peace with your mind, thats when your the most focused.
Do the tasks that you feel a higher reward from. Then flow state is the next stop, leading you to a path of undeniable potential.
Many of you reading/listening to this have not found this inner source of power. This inner source of endless willingness to push through. This inner drive/passion to get up in the morning. The reason behind this? Ever since you were born you have been programmed into a world where its a constant chase of the work-reward pathway.
There is no correct answer to fufilling work. It can be anything. But one way of knowing that you have arrived, is when you stop looking at the clock.
"The clock is your worst enemy, you can either want it to go slower or faster.
Its all up to you.
Choose with your mind."
Third reason to pursue health and fitness, is creativity
Purpose fueled work is a journey. Its a path that will start in one area of life, and fuel the rest. This is how the "Three Ladders of Life" is a crucial concept to master.
My journey started with fitness and body-building. This path led me to realize how one can fufill ones dreams, thorugh work and discipline. It teached me how delayed gratitude and hard work can be fufilling with the right amount of pressure.
Pursuing physical wellness has lead me to realize and expand on the sculpture I want to shape of myself. A majority use fitness, working-out to improve physical/mental health. This has been true for me for the majority of the process. Recently I’ve found that workouts and sauna sessions, has expanded my creativity and awarness of thought.
Two methods that has made it simple for me to collect ideas. While in a gym, out on a walk or in the sauna:
"When a glims of an idea strokes your mind, DO NOT let it go.
Write it down.
Record youself explaining the idea.
Share it with the world.
These ideas are your true inner voice rendering your path."
For me, having an apple watch on my wrist is gold. This gives me the opportunity to voice memo myself within seconds.
«Cycle of Consumption: Breaking Free»
In our generation there is no easy way to be bored. There is distractions all around you, from every corner, lurking. Trying to steal your attention. We live in a society where attention is the new currency. Do not become one of the consumers. Strive to become a creator with insight. Become obsessed with beeing "different".
Work to become a person with influence, so that you can lead the younger to getting a sense of fufillment. Leading them in the path of greatness, rather than addiction to cheap pleasures. The cheap pleasures is what numbs people from finding their inner purpose.
Chase a different path, diffrerent = greatness.
The feeling of having influence and beeing accountable is a crucial part of human nature. It lays deep within us, the want to be a person of insight. How can one not want to pursue self-mastery?
Humans have a responasbility towards other to be a force of good. If we want better in this world, then we need to start with ourself.
